My name is David Ian Smith; I have been painting for almost 40 years. Influenced by the French Impressionists, Scottish Colourists and the Glasgow Boys, I love to capture light,colour and texture in landscape, which was and is my first love. More recently I have branched out into painting abstracts and also animals, particularly horses. Please come in and have a browse; I'm sure you will find something to suit you!
